The Creation of the Elven Crown

**Due to damage done when polishing, the band had to be redone. Made and polished separately from the front and soldered in place with a silver ball over the joint for added strength.

***Repairs involved reshaping, soldering or replacing of damaged filigree, reshaping of warped framework, reshaping and some soldering of settings, replacement of two settings, construction of new band as the original band was twisted around the pollishing machine's spindle. To avoid a repeat of the previous polishing accident, the band and the front were polished separately and joined together such that final polishing of the 'whole' piece was minimal.
